Barbara “LaJuana” Atkinson Watson passed away on August 15, 2017 in Syracuse, Utah.
LaJuana was born to Albert and Rose Williams Atkinson in Samaria, Idaho. She married Lawrence Watson on January 1, 1944. They were happily married for 67 year.
She was the Beauty Queen- Haight Ashby Spring Festival -1941- San Francisco, California.
LaJuana has lived many places in her life starting with Samaria, Idaho; Ogden, Utah; New York, New York; California; St Anthony, Idaho; Lake Mead, Nevada; and last of all Syracuse, Utah.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Serving as a Cub Scout leader and Visiting Teacher.
Lajuana loved to paint, make ceramics, crochet, bake and play Bingo.
LaJuana is survived by her daughter LaJuana Marlynn (Danny) Seeds. 10 grandchildren, 32 great -grandchildren, 18 great - great- grandchildren and 2 sister: Marge Tobias and Faye Taylor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughter Judy, sisters LaNae, Dale and Dixie, One grandson, and one great grandson.
Graveside services will be held Friday, August 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd, Ogden, UT.
Services under the direction of Myers Roy Mortuary, 5865 South 1900 West, Roy, Utah
