AVA Alicia Ann Allen, 41, died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, in her home in Ava.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2007, in Jubilee Tabernacle in De Soto, with Brothers Joseph Edmondson, Phillip Easton and Danny Norman officiating. Burial will be in Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, then from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Alicia was born May 11, 1965, in Pinckneyville to Earl Raymond and Rosie C. (Downs) Allen.
She worked for 24 years at WXAN Radio Station in Ava. She was a member of Church of Christ All Nations in Sparta.
Survivors include her mother, Rosie C. Allen of Ava; brothers, Bill Schaeffer of Staunton and Kevin, Vance and Mark Allen of Ava; sisters, Sandra Hewerdine and Angela Allen of Ava; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
