Michelle Wallace, 44, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 15, 2017 following injuries sustained in a car accident.
Born in Macon, Georgia on February 7, 1973, Michelle graduated from Peach County High School with the Class of 1990. She attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Valdosta State University and was a much-loved Registered Nurse at Medical Center Navicent Health in Macon. Michelle loved the Lord, grew up attending Byron Baptist Church, and was most recently a member of Southside Baptist Church. Scrapbooking, going to the beach, taking pictures, and spending time with her family were her favorite pastimes.
Her paternal grandmother, Laverne Bridger; and her maternal grandfather, William F. "Bill" Smith, preceded her in death.
Michelle leaves her memory behind with her loving children, Kaylynn and Abigail Wallace of Byron; her parents, Pam and Bennie Carver of Byron; her sister, Tina Smith (Adam) of Kathleen; nephews, Ryan and Aiden Smith; grandparents, Dan and Shirley Hamilton of Byron; and aunts, Patty Harvard (Hank), Deena Youngblood (Stanley), and Linda Crosby (Ron).
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 19th at Byron Baptist Church with visitation one hour prior to the service. Following the service, Michelle will be laid to rest in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with Ms. Wallace's arrangements.
