MARY DELLA NOTTINGHAM, 79, was born in Duncan, Oklahoma, on April 13, 1938, to Louis Albert and Mary Frances (Kuykendall) Chasteen. She passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2017, in Oklahoma City.

Family visitation will be on Thursday, August 10, from 5:30 to 7 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Friday, August 11, at 1:30 P.M. at the Eastside Church of Christ, with Minister Ron Stough officiating. Burial will be at Duncan Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Mary graduated from Duncan High School in 1956. She married Marion Neil Nottingham on May 13, 1956. They had two daughters, Debbie and Donna. She worked as a secretary at numerous companies, including National Rural Water Association, Westside Church of Christ, The Duncan Banner, and Halliburton Services. After retirement, Mary became a very successful Avon saleswoman.

She loved her children and grandchildren; she also enjoyed cooking and shopping. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ where she taught Sunday school and enjoyed fellowshipping with the ladies.

She is survived by her children, Debbie Gardner and husband Glenn of Oklahoma City, and Donna McCall of Duncan; three grand-children, Kasey Gardner of Oklahoma City, Jessica McCall of Oklahoma City, and Justin McCall of Stillwater; her sister, Susie Scott and husband Larry of Ardmore; her brother-in-law, Donald Nottingham and wife Edna; her sisters-in-law, Mary Beth Bowen and husband Hillis, Jeanne Grizzle and husband Paul, Betty Tollefson and husband George, and Joan Christian; her nephew, Jason Scott and wife Tammy; her niece, Alison Scott; and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marion Nottingham, her parents, and her infant brother, Jackie Louis Chasteen.
