Andy was the son of Frank A. and Kata (Vlatkovich) Franich.

He served in the U S Army in World War II; serving in the China and India-Burma Campaigns. He was a lifetime member of the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Aberdeen Elks.

Andy and Diana V. Masnov were married April 17, 1948 in Hoquiam, Washington.

He was survived by his wife Diana, a son, a daughter and 2 grandchildren. Andy was preceded in death by his parents, a brother George Franich and two sisters, Mary and Katie.
