Anita Luean Wellnitz was born December 4, 1973 to Gerald Vernon and Rosie (Hall) Allen in Tonkawa, OK. She passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017 at the Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK at the age of 43. Luean attended Geary Schools. She lived in the Geary-Watonga area most of her life. She was united in marriage to Terry Wellnitz March 6, 2006 in Watertown, SD. They lived in several different areas before moving back to Watonga. Luean loved arts, making beads, coloring, and being with her grandkids. She was a Catholic and had had health problems for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon Allen and Rosie Roberts; grandparents; granddaughter, Emily Horstman; and two brothers-in-law, George Simons and Brian Wellnitz.
Luean is survived by her husband, Terry Wellnitz of the home, Watonga, OK; children, Billy Horstman and his wife Teresa of Enid, OK, Johnny Horstman and his wife Amber and Terry Horstman and his wife Veronica all of Watonga, OK; thirteen grandchildren, Tiffany, Billy, Jr., Anna, Jazmine, Ariel, Emma, Jacob, Wesley, Kolton, Henry, and Olivia Horstman; siblings, Tina Simons of Watonga, and Chris Allen of Geary; father and mother-in-law, Arnold and Sharon Wellnitz , two brothers-in-law, Lee Wellnitz and Dean Wellnitz and his wife Tiffany all of Melbank, SD; and sister-in-law, Tammy Wojahn and her husband Jason of Fulshear, TX.
