Liberty Ashjian, who would have been 74 yesterday, of 153 Mauran Ave., died Tuesday at home.
The late Jacob "Jake" Ashjian was her husband.
Mrs. Ashjian was a member of the Daughters of Vartan and the local Republican Women's Club.
A daughter of the late Bedros and Rose (Sahakian) Bagdasarian, she was a lifelong East Providence resident.
She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Paul, a son, John, and three grandchildren.
