Charlie bought a farm in Prentiss County, just East of the Tippah County, MS line and he and Julie (Jewel to the family) lived and reared their family there. They were always home and happy to have friends and family visit.
Services were held at McMillan Funeral Home with Bro. Clifford Smart officiating. Burial was in Jumpertown Cemetery.
He was survived by his wife, Mrs. Julie Mardis Brady; two daughters, Mrs. Eva Zane Hurt of Ripley and Mrs. Willie Mae Stites of Rienzi; four sons, Bill Brady, Charles Brady, William Patrick "Doc" Brady and Jim Brady; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Mae Davis and Mrs. Julie Bell Stroup.
Charlie was preceded in death by his first wife, Hester Padgett Brady; his parents, Johnny Benjamin Braddy and Martha Hastings Braddy; a son, Monroe Brady, an infant daughter, Venus Brady and three brothers, Wallace Brady, Joe Reed (Joseph Benjamin) Brady and Oliver Sampson "Tut" Brady.
