Donna Deanna Childress Puckett, age 59 of Raven, Virginia passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Richlands, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Firl and Emily Gertie Hill Childress, former Raven natives. She dedicated her life to raising her family, and was a devoted mother, sister, grandmother,great-grandmother, aunt and friend. Donna was of the holiness faith and was a lifelong resident of the area.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dennis William Puckett and her daughter, Vanessa Michelle Johnson.

The funeral service for Donna Puckett will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Rev. James Dye, Sr., officiating. Interment will follow at the Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, VA. Pallbearers will be Travis Childress, Bryant Justus, Steven Childress, Tyler Puckett and Sammy Byrd. The family will begin receiving friends at 6:00 pm on Monday evening at the funeral home.
