2nd wife of John Ledlow (Laidlaw). She was a "domestic" in the home of John & Jane Ledlow for many years. Jane died of consumption in 1860 and she and John married in October of 1861. They named their first daughter Jane after John's first wife. In addition to being stepmother of 8 children, she and John had at least 6 more children. Some records show birthplace as England, some show Canada. Not sure which is correct. Her brother William also lived with the family for many years, classified as "laborer"
