From the Adamsville (Ohio) Register, Oct. 27, 1891:
Mrs. Amanda Tingle died at her home in East Union, on Saturday morning Oct. 24. Mrs. Tingle had been in poor health for some time but her friends at this place, her old home, were shocked to hear of her death. She is survived by her husband and three children, G.H. Shrigley being her son by a former marriage. Our fellow citizens, J.A. and G.W. Snoots are brothers of the deceased.
