VICTIM OF FATAL HEART ATTACK
IS LAID TO REST HERE

The funeral services of the late Mrs. Annie McGill of Kansas City who passed away suddenly in the Chilton Drug store yesterday afternoon, were held at Fisher's funeral parlors at 10 o'clock this morning and at St. Paul's church at 10:30, Rev. Father Prendergast officiating.

The following gentlemen, all Knights of Columbus, served as pallbearers: Joe Canizaro, Ed Cummins, Nicholas Conti, Harry Martin, John Hennessey and H.C. Delahoussaye.

The sudden death of Mrs, McGill, far away from her home has filled many hearts with sadness and much sympathy is being expressed for her daughter, Mrs. Charles E. Trustler who arrived with her in the city on yesterday afternoon's Valley train.

It is stated that the two ladies, who have been going around from point to point selling hand-made lace had planned to stop in this city for a few days and that Mrs. McGill, in spite of her advanced years was seemingly in perfect health.

After alighting from the train, however, and starting up the steep China street hill, the elderly traveler was seized with an acute attack of, what must have been heart weakness. She was hastily taken in a taxi to the Chilton Drug Co., where Dr. Haralson administered restoratives as quickly as possible, but in a few minutes the sufferer breathed her last.

Father Prendergast had been summoned in the meantime and reached the dying woman's side in time to administer the last rites of the church. The body was removed to Fisher's undertaking establishment and interment was planned to take place where in accordance with an expressed with of deceased that she be buried in whatever city she happened to pass away.

Mrs. McGill and her daughter were known to a number of our ladies who have been their patrons in the past and many of them called last evening to express their sympathy and assist in the funeral arrangements. This was particularly the case with the member of the Altar Society of St. Paul's church: the Ladies of Charity, the Knights of Columbus and the Royal Neighbors of America, of which deceased was a member. Representatives of all these organizations attended the funeral services and sent flowers for the casket. Mrs. Trustler returned to Kansas City today.
