[the majority of public records spell Edmond with a "u"]∼The son of Richard Warren, he married Elizabeth Bouton, daughter of JOHN & ABIGAIL (MARVIN) BOUTON of Norwalk, Conn., on October 6, 1698 in Norwalk. They lived at Queen's Village at Oyster Bay, Long Island until 1704 when they removed to Norwalk, Conn. where he resided in the part of Norwalk called Rowayton. His house stood on Rhoton Hill and his estate extended along Five Mile River. He also owned a large tract of land in Berkshire Co., Mass. Edmund & his son, Edmund, Jr. were supporters of Saint Paul's Church in Norwalk where he was the first vestryman.
