Mr. Rick Allphin, 48, of Clear Lake, formerly of Henderson, passed from this life on July 14, 2017, in Carlsbad, New Mexico. He was born September 20, 1968, in Houston. Henderson was home to Rick before moving to Clear Lake in 2014. He served his country in the United States Army's 101st Airborne Division. He was a pipeline contractor by trade and worked for Strike, LLC. Rick loved being a pipeliner, and he was loved and respected by those he worked with. He enjoyed singing, a trait that he passed on to his children, and he loved being on the water. Above all, Rick was a wonderful, loving husband and father that had an impact on so many lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Janie and Harold Leath, and his son, Andrew Allphin.
