Her siblings were: Jimmy Eugene Conger and Donnie G. Conger. She also had a half-sister from her father's first marriage (mother's name unknown) who did not live with the family: Edith Marie Conger.
Sadly, Betty died of pneumonia at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas on April 20, 1939 at the age of 3. She was buried in Llano Cemetery on April 21, 1939.
