Odell Kilcrease, 88, of Henrietta, Texas passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017.
Funeral services will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at the Davis Funeral Home Chapel in Henrietta, Texas with Rev. Howard Walker, pastor of the First Christian Church in Henrietta, Texas, officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery in Henrietta under the direction of Davis Funeral Home.
Mr. Kilcrease was born on April 29, 1929 in Bluegrove, Texas to William Oren and Annie (Adams) Kilcrease. He served his country in the US Navy and married Lillian (Rotta) on February 17, 1952 in Henrietta. Mr. Kilcrease was retired from L.D. Burns, Wilson Manufacturing and was a County employee for Henrietta for 10 years. He loved all sports and enjoyed being at the Amon Carter Lake fishing and maintaining his cabin.
Mr. Kilcrease was preceded in death by his parents, wife Lillian Kilcrease, and two brothers, C.A. Kilcrease and John D. Kilcrease.
Survivors include a son, Steve Kilcrease of Wichita Falls, Texas; daughter, Susan Kilcrease Campbell of Henrietta; grandchildren, Kristen Campbell of Austin, Texas, Taylor Kilcrease and wife Dawn of Wichita Falls, and Alex Kilcrease and wife Laura of Medellin, Colombia; sisters, Anita Cox and Jane Adams; numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will be at Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday evening from 6:00PM – 7:30PM.
