Susannah was born in Georgia, most likely Fannin Co. You can see in the 1860 census she is 1 year old and you can see her father and mothers name and ages. Her grandfather Benjamin Franklin Warren is seen in the county next to them called Gilmer Co. 1860 census also. Her grandfather Benjamin is living with Thomas Logan Warren's sister Mary Jane. Mary Jane married Lovit Goodin in Casey Co. Kentucky 13-Feb.-1868. Later on Mary and Lovit moved to Stonewall Co. Texas and this is where she died and Lovit died in Oklahoma. Susannah married Jacob Dudley Hatfield in Casey Co. on the 14-Jan.-1881 in Casey Co. Kentucky. Sometime between 1860 and 1864 Thomas and his family along with Mary Jane moved to Casey Co. but the reason is unknown why. I personally have a theory, and that is I believe it was because of the civil war. Georgia was in the south and many battles were fought in the northern part of Georgia and its a possibility they wanted to keep out of the danger of the battles. There is a civil war pension on file for Susannah's grandfather dated 1863, but I have not found the actual document yet. In the Casey Co. 1870 census record you can see Susannah listed as being 11 years old and her fathers name mis-spelled. Also living next door to them is Thomas's sister Mary Jane and her husband Lovit (Lovett) Goodin. Susannah died in Casey Co. Kentucky on 16-Mar.-1921 and is buried behind the church. I should point out that Susannah had a brother named Julius F. Warren who was murdered in Laurel Co. Kentucky in 1902 on the 11th of April by the Boone Brothers. And the family had supposedly taken his body back to Rockcastle Co. to be buried according to news paper articles. As of now its not known where he is buried. I cannot find any records so far. .........Name: Susem S Hatfield
