Annie Emelia Anderson was born 10 May 1877 in Kristiania/Christiania (now Oslo) Norway, and died 20 Oct. 1916 in Dubois, Fremont (now Clark Co.) Idaho. She was the daughter of Charles "Carl" Anderson [Carelius/Karelius Andreassen in Norway] and Antonette "Nettie" Evensen. She married Conrad S. Nielson [later their surname was changed to Allen], 25 Aug 1896 in Union, Salt Lake Co., Utah. They were the parents of 12 children, 7 who lived to adulthood. She was bedridden for 2 years before her death. She was survived by her father and her husband, Conrad, and 7 young children.

Annie & Conrad's children were: Conrad Jr., Leroy, Mildred Eliza, James Rial and John Henry, who died as infants; Florence Allen Mikesell; Carlos Allen; Narvel Allen; Clide Allen; Samuel George Allen; Grace Allen Wells and Nettie Allen Walston.
