Alvin Earl Lippencott, 76, of Savannah, Ga., died at Stella Maris Hospice, Timonium, on Sunday, June 15, 2003. He had worked at Hillman Barge Company, as superintendent, at Thunderbolt Marine in Savannah, Ga., as general manager, and for the World Bank in Bangladesh and Somalia, as a marine consultant.
Mr. Lippencott is survived by his wife, a son, a daughter, and three grandchildren.
