She married Ray Hailey in 1941 (deceased). She married John Portwood on May 21, 1960. He died on Sept. 28, 1998.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters and 5 brothers.
She is survived by her daughter Linda Kay Hailey of Amarillo, several nieces and nephews including JoAnne Granberey of Lubbock who was her care-giver for many years.

Visitation will be Wed., May 24, 2017 at 1 p.m. with graveside following at 2 p.m. at Resthaven Memorial Park.
