She was born December 31, 1920, in Rigby, Idaho, to Wesley Waitstill Russell and Sylvia Petersen Russell. She attended grade school and middle school in Rigby, graduating from 8th grade.
She married Arnold "Slim" Daniel Radford March 27, 1940, in LaBell, Idaho. They raised two sons and she was a homemaker all of her life. They lived in Rigby until 1942, when they moved to Bremerton, Washington, during the war, then lived in Blackfoot from 1946 to 1947, when they moved to Idaho Falls.
She enjoyed quilting, crafts and gardening.

Funeral Services were held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2006 at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. Friends met with the family at Wood Funeral Home before leaving for the Ririe Cemetery.
