Shirley Ann Coe, age 72, of Raven, VA passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017 at her home following a lengthy illness.

Shirley was born in Richlands, VA and was the daughter of the late Emory and Macy Osborne Horton of Tazewell County. She was a graduate of Richlands High School and was a former employee of Eastern Isles. She also delivered the intercompany mail for B B & T Bank. She lived all her life in the Raven area. She will be missed by all those who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Coe; and brothers, Earl and Mackie Horton.

Funeral services for Shirley Ann Coe will be conducted at 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA with the Rev. Eddie Hess and Rev. David Horton officiating. Interment will follow at Chambers Family Cemetery at Shortt Gap, VA. Nephews and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family receive friends from 6 – 9 pm on Monday evening at the funeral home.
