He was retired from Ford Motor after 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his son, Roger D. Allen.
Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, a daughter, a granddaughter, a grandson, a step-grandson, a step-great granddaughter, a brother, and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral service will be at noon on Saturday. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Friday.
