Mrs. Helen Shuba, 65, of Houston. formerly of Hendersonville, died at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 31, 1962, in the Washington Hospital following a lingering illness. She was born in Poland on March 8, 1837, and had lived in this area for the last 31 years. She was a member of St. Patrick R. C. Church. Her husband Joseph died January 3, 1955

Survivors include her mother,Mrs. Mary Stanek, Poland; the following children: Mary, wife of Edward Grudevich. RD 2, Canonsburg; Stanley, at home; Frances, wife of Lawrence Tremmel, BloomfieId, N.J.; Edward, at home: four grandchildren, two sisters: Sister Maria and Nelle, both of Poland, and two brothers: John Stanek and Stanley Stanek, both of Poland.
