Joseph (Uncle Joe) Dugan, 72, Houston, died Wednesday, March 17, 1965, in the Veterans Hospital, Leech Farm Road, Pittsburgh. He was born in Italy, Sept 8, 1892. A retired coal miner, he was a veteran of World War I and a member of John B. Haley Post No. 2026, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Canonsburg.

Surviving are the following nieces and nephews: Mrs. Katherine Welch, San Leandra, Calif.; Joseph Dugan, Mrs. John Mazza, Reese Dugan, Mrs. Mary DeLucia, and George Dugan, all of Houston.

Friends of Joseph (Uncle) Dugan, Houston, will be received at the Robert E. Wylie Funeral Home, Houston, Thursday and Friday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. where Blessing Services will be held Saturday, March 20, 1965, at 9 a.m. in charge of Rt. Rev. Monsignor Paul J. Simko, pastor of St. Patrick's; R. C. Church, Canonsburg. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Church Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at the graveside by VFW Private James Perry Post 191, Canonsburg.
