Mrs. Rose Wojtanowski (nee Sniegowski), 53 of 608 McCarthy Street, died Sunday, December 13, at Silver Cross Hospital in Joliet.
Mrs. Wojtanowski was the widow of the late Chester B. Wojtanowski, who died in 1960.
A lifetime resident of Lemont, she was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society of SS. Cyril's Church.
Mrs. Wojtanowski was the foster mother of Mrs. Bert (Helen) Ercoli and Edward S. Rutkowski of Lemont.
She is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Marion (Anne) Mankowski of Lemont, and Mrs. Frank (Frances) Triscilla of Chicago; two brothers, John F. and Frank J. of Lemont; five grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning from the Markiewicz Funeral Home, 108 Illinois Street, to SS. Cyril's Church at 10 o'clock. Burial was in SS. Cyril's Cemetery.
