Louis L. Novak, 63, of 700 Czacki Street, died at his home last Friday, February 1, after a lingering illness. Born in Lemont on June 9, 1899, Mr. Novak had lived his entire lifetime here. He had been employed for the past 22 years as a millwright at Corn Products in Argo.
Mr. Novak is survived by his wife Alice (nee Sniegowski), two sons, Louis S. and Edward L. of Lemont; four sisters, Mrs. Pauline Affelt of Lemont, Mrs. Stella Adamski of Chicago, and the Misses Helen and Theresa Novak of Lemont; two brothers John J. and Alexander Novak of Lemont, and eight grandchildren. He is preceded in death by three brothers, William, Leo and Martin.
Funeral services were held Monday morning from Markiewicz Funeral Home, 108 Illinois Street, at 9:30 o'clock to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church at 10:00. Burial was in parish cemetery.
