Mrs. P. Pauline Cooper, 96, went home to be with Jesus, Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, in Garland, Texas. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 22, in Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. Charles Henry officiating. There will be no visitation. Burial will follow the services.

Plina Pauline was born in DeKalb County, Tennessee, to the late Herbert Lee and Sara Atnip.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Dr. Charles A. Cooper; and sons, Troy and Herbert Nixon.

Survivors include her daughter, Helen Strangi and family; sons, Hershel Nixon and family, and Paul Nixon and family; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
