ST. JOSEPH, Minn. - Sr. Amata Sievering OSB, 91, died at the St. Cloud Hospital Tuesday. She was born May 25, 1877, in Richmond, Minn. Sr. Amata made her final profession of vows at St. Benedict s Convent on July 11, 1911, .and celebrated her diamond jubilee of profession on Aug. 15, 1962. She is survived by her sister Mrs. A. J. (Ann) Zuercher, Mel rose, Minn. She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters. She was a teacher during her early religious life at Long Prairie, Minn.; Bismarck, N.D.; and Holy Angels School, St. Cloud. She served as administrator at St. Joseph's Home, St. Cloud, for 15 years and since 1961 has been retired at the St. Joseph's Sanatorium, St. Cloud. Concelebrated mass will be offered at St. Benedict's Chapel at 3:30 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the convent cemetery. Friends may call at the con vent after 5 p.m. today.
