Mrs. Prudie Combs Aldridge, 62, of Sulphur, died Wednesday, August 15th at the Humana Hospital University, Louisville.
She was a native of Perry County and a member of the Chavies Baptist Church in Perry County.
She is survived by her husband, Alvin Aldridge, Sulphur; two sons, Walter (Bud) Combs, New Castle and Harold A. Aldridge, Sulphur; her father, Mr. Press Combs, Route 1, Pendleton; six sisters, Mrs. Richard (Helen) Duff, London, KY, Mrs. Bob (Hester) Abbott, Pendleton, Mrs. Sam (Martha) Abbott, Route 1, Pendleton, Mrs. Kermit (Margie) Williams, Owenton, Mrs. Willard (Ollie Sue) Perry, Owenton, and Mrs. Alice Goodrich, Gratz; four brothers, Ernest Combs, Jericho, Ottis Combs, Louisville, Hershel (Dub) Combs and Ceasor Combs, both of Owenton; one half-sister, Mrs. Steven (Ethel) Lynn, Louisville; four grandchildren and foru great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Friday, August 17th from Prewitt's New Castle. Rev. Nick Coleman, pastor of the Children of the King Church, Bedford, officiating.
Interment was in the Point Pleasant Cemetery.
