Minnie was a very gifted and artistic person. She was an excellent business woman and a very good pubic relations person. She established the Lindsay Florist on Lakeview and Eighth Avenues in Pensacola. She and her husband later sold it and opened the Joyce Flower Shop. After her husband's death she sold this shop and later opened the Azalea Florist. She was a faithful member of the Church of Christ, and was loved by many. Minnie died at the Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola.
