Mrs. Arms was born on September 8, 1936 in Princeton, WV to the late Earl and Exie Newberry Wells. She was a retired customer service associate for First National Exchange, Dominion, and First Union Bank in Richlands, Virginia. Mrs. Arms was a lifelong resident of the area and attended the Ivy Spring Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Arms was predeceased by her husband, Curtis Arms; son, Rick Arms; sister, Doris Whitt; brother, Herschel Wells; one grandson, and one great grandson.

Funeral services for June Wells Arms will be conducted at 11 am on Friday, June 2, 2017 at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Home in Richlands, VA with the Rev. Phillip Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens in Claypool Hill, VA. Grandsons and friends will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening after 6 pm.
