Mr. Arthur R. Bagley, 89 yrs. of age, died Thursday at the St. Vincent Medical Center in Jacksonvill,Fla. He was born 5/25/1910 in Nicholls, GA and was a member of the Ben James Primitive Baptist Church for 45 yrs. serving as a deacon. He resided in Jacksonville,FL for more than 42 years and had retired in 1992 from Calvin R. Bagley Builders in Jacksonville. A daughter Shirley Kathleen Powers died in 1956. He is survived by his wife of the past 68 years Hazel Knight and four sons: Calvin R., Larry M., Curtis H.,all of Jacksonville, FL and Gary W. Bagley of Pierce Co. GA, a brother Odell Bagley of Nicholls, and three sisters: Mary Bagley Joyner of Guyton, Ga., Odessa Bagley Streat of Nicholls, and Addie Bagley Wolfe of Blackshear. The funeral was held Sunday in Jacksonville, FL at 11 o'clock a.m. at Town & Country Funeral Home with the Elder Willis Boyette and Alvin Johnson officiating the service.
