My mother told me she was there when her grandfather died. She said he had been fishing and put his fishing poles under the house then fell dead. She said she yelled for help and a neighbor came but there was nothing they could do to revive him. She said he liked to fish at the river with cane fishing poles. Dying suddenly at the end of a day of fishing seems a good ending.
