Vernon Blythe, aged 76, of San Marcos, Tex., formerly of Conway, died Wednesday. He was a Methodist. Survivors are his wife, Velma Tucker Blythe; a son, Dr. Hal T. Blythe of San Marcos; a daughter, Ann Davenport of Louisiana; two brothers, Herman Blythe of Gurdon, and Lindon Blythe of Conway; three sisters, Maude Surett of North Little Rock, Stella Halsey of Conway and Edna Clark of Quitman, three grandchildren. Funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. at McNutt Funeral home here (Conway). Burial will be in McNew Cemetery in Greenbrier (Faulkner County).
