Bessie R Seiferd, 99, 21 Water St., Fairfield, died Thursday evening at Michael Manor.
She was born in Adams County daughter of the late William and Eliza Anderson Richardson.
Her husband, Harry C Seiferd, died in 1939.
She was a member of Foursquare Gospel Church, was Fairfield's oldest resident, and was formerly employed at the C.H. Musselman company in Orrtanna and the Fairfield Shoe Company.
She is survived four daughters, Mary Bennett and Ruth Powell both of Fairfield;' Kathryn McCleaf of Reading; and Doris Warrenfeltz of York; one son, George Seiferd of Fairfield; 20 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 25 great-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Monday at 11:00 from the Monahan Funeral Home in Fairfield with the Rev. Jacob E Warrenfeltz and the Rev. Eliza Myer officiating.
Interment will be in Fairfield Union Cemetery
