Survivors include his wife, Lettie Breland French of Union, one daughter Vickie Parker and her husband Wayne fo Union, one son Jackie French and his wife Paula of Brandon. One granddaughter Skylar French of Brandon and one grandson Josh Parker of Hattiesburg and one sister Charlene Pearson of Union. Also a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Robbie Pearson, Davis French, Joe Dollar, Paul Killen, Robert Killen, and Kevin French. Honorary pallbearers were the First Baptist Church Men's Adult Sunday School Case and brick layers.

He was a loving husband, father, brother, and uncle.
He worked as a brick layer after being discharged from the service. He was inducted into the US Navy on 6/19/43 at the age of 19. Before entering the service he worked as a truck driver. He attended service school at the US Navy AAF School at Martha's Vineyard, Mass. Served on the US Naval Air Station, Quonset Point, Rhode Island, US NAAF Martha's Vineyard, Mass. He received the American Theather of Operations Medal. He was discharged as Aviation Ordanceman 2nd Class on 1/9/46, in New Orleans,La.
