‎ ‎ ‎ GOODING - Earl Richard "Dick" Blair Sr., 67, of Gooding died Tuesday, Aug. 10, 1993, at the Elmore County Hospital in Mountain Home.
‎ ‎ ‎ He was born April 2, 1926, in Niobrara, Neb., the son of Earl James and Ona May Bomberger Blair. He served one year in the Merchant Marines before serving in the U.S. Army during World War II. He also served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was awarded with the Pacific Campaign Medal, Victory Medal and the Purple Heart.
‎ ‎ ‎ He is survived by a daughter and husband, Cynthia and Erle Byram of Gooding; a son and wife, Earl R. Jr. and Sheri Blair of Wendell; a daughter, Donna Jean Blair; three stepdaughters, Roxanne, Gwen and Linda Lou, all of California; five sisters, Dorothy, Gert, Larraine, Mary and Darlene; four brothers, Elmer, Kenneth, Donald and Daniel and many grandchildren.
‎ ‎ ‎ Cremation took place at Blay Colonial Funeral Home and Crematory. A memorial graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14 at Sunset Memorial Park in Twin Falls, with military rites by the Gooding American Legion Perry Byam Post No. 30. Blay Colonial Funeral Home in Twin Falls is in charge of arrangements.
