Clorea B. Truslow of Chestertown, MD died on Tuesday, November 17, 2003 at the Chester River Hospital Center, Chestertown, (Kent Co.), MD. She was 92.
Born on March 24, 1911 in Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Charles Albert and Corrie Scott Clothier Baxter.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Urie Truslow in 1977 and her sister, Elizabeth B. Stewart in 1994.
Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Truslow took over ownership of Truslow Farms Incorporated and was president for 25 years. Throughout her life she was very active in many area organizations.
Mrs. Truslow is survived by two nieces and their families, Clorea Stewart Briele and her husband, Henry, of Northbrook, IL and their children, Henry Alison Briele, III and Michael Stewart Briele and Mary Stewart Owczarek of Isle of Palms, SC, and her children, Marla Stewart Owczarek and James Jozef Owczarek.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, November 23 at 2pm at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Chestertown, MD. Interment will be held in St. Paul’s Cemetery at 1pm.
