MARY M. GIFFORD

Mary Etta McGee Gifford, 70, 4000 Ninth East, died of natural causes July 21 in a Salt Lake hospital.
Born April 22, 1897 at Ruby, Cherokee Nation, Indian Territory, now Oklahoma to Solon Huff and Emily Lucretia Robinson McGee. She married Moses Elias Gifford Jr., Feb. 24, 1916, at the St. George LDS Temple. She was an active member of the LDS Church.
Survivors include her husband; sons and daughters, Wayne, Reed, A. Grover, all Salt Lake City; Patrick M., Ogden; Mrs. Nick (Wanda) Petric, Mrs. Arnold E. (Delilah) Youngberg, both Murray; 28 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Elwood of Holbrook, Ariz.; William H. and Grover, both of Salt Lake City; Ross, American Fork; Mrs. James D. (Sally) Washburn, Draper; and Mrs. Herb (Luella) Norman, Mount Pleasant, Sanpete County.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. at 6500 S. Redwood Road, where friends may call Monday from 7-9 p.m., or Tuesday one hour prior to services. Burial will be at Redwood Memorial Estates.
