Julia was the daughter of William J. and Mary (Greak) Curns. She married Robert V. Wilson, son of Samuel and Mary (Kellinger) Wilson, on 14 Feb 1892 in Clinton County. They had seven children: Cora Marie, Rosella, Beaulah May, Samuel D., Jacob, Minnie Caroline and Samuel who was stillborn. All of the children except Caroline died before the age of five.

Caroline was ten when her Mother died. She attended the Girls Training School in Williamsport and lived with her Aunt Eliza Curns Troup. She became a tailoress and lived in Buffalo, NY.

Robert V. Wilson died in Williamsport on 1 Feb 1936. He was cremated.
