Herbert Lee Whitlow, 67, Brentlinger Lane, died Thursday at Baptist Hospital East. He was a native of Green County, a retired yardmaster for the old Louisville & Nashville Railroad Co., an Army veteran of World War II and a member of Cedar Creek Baptist Church. Survivors: his wife, the former Geneva Skaggs; a son, Philip S. Whitlow; a daughter, Sharon L. Spivey; four sisters; and four grandchildren.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday, Heady Fern Creek Funeral Home, 5406 Bardstown Road. Burial: Highland Memory Gardens, Mount Washington. Visitation: 2-9 p.m. Friday.
