He was the son of John Henry and Christina Ackerman Albright. He served in the Army during World War II. He moved to McAlester after the war in 1946 and marrid Kathryn Goff, who preceded him in death. He later married Margaret England Collins in 1962 in McAlester. He was the owner and operator of Dixie Clothing and other retail clothing stores for many years. Survivors included his wife, Margaret, of the home; three daughters and sons in law, Glenda Faye and Bill Moon, Jackson Hole, WY, Joyce Lee and Vern Sandifer of Tulsa, and Cindy Kay Albright, Tampa, FL; two sons, and daughter in law, Joe Collins, Dallas, TX and Mike and Karen Albright of Broken Arrow; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Elinor Weaver of Oklahoma City and Virginia McMackin, Tucker, GA; his mother in law, Jeanette Goff of Muskogee; and a sister in law, Dell Douglas of McAlester.
