Elinor A. Weaver, age 91, a resident of Albuquerque for the last five years and previously of Oklahoma City, passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2006. She is survived by her son and his wife, William and Janie Weaver, of Albuquerque; a brother and his wife, John and Elinor Albright, of Tulsa, OK; a sister and her husband, Virginia and Garvin McMakin, of Tucker, GA; grandchildren Melissa Brown and her husband Steve, of Lubbock, TX and Melanie Sparks and her husband Mike of Albuquerque; and three great grandchildren, Baylee and Hannah Brown and Carlee Sparks. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mark W. Weaver; a son, John R. Weaver; and two brothers, George Albright and Henry Albright. Elinor was a member of the Metropolitan Baptist Church of Oklahoma City. Elinor was a retired elementary school teacher and an accomplished artist who enjoyed water colors, china painting and oil painting. The Family will be receiving visitors for visitation Monday from 2-4PM. Services will be held 10AM Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home. Published in The Oklahoman on 6/11/2006.
