He was a communicant of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and a member of the American Legion Post 514 in Winthrop. He was a self-employed farmer, and enjoyed playing cards and volunteering at the St. Regis Nursing Home.
He was survived by his companion of several years, Jane Cousineau; and a brother, Emmett F. (Kathy).
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife; five sisters, Elsie A. French, Pearl Brown, Pauline Smith, Ona M. Giles, and Betty Dominy; and four brothers, Donald, Leo, Lyle and Walton Fleury.
