Sylvester A. "Dumpy" Frey, 66, of 21 Duo Drive, died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday at Lancaster General Hospital, after an extended illness. He was the husband of Florence N. Kline Frey.
He lived his entire life in Lancaster County, and worked for 39 years in the print department of Armstrong Cork Co., retiring in 1970.
Born in Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Edward C. and Elizabeth Andrews Frey.
In addition to his widow, he is survived by these children: Lloyd S., Manheim; Betty J., wife of Charles Fridinger; LeRoy K.; and Paul M., all of Lancaster. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; one great grandson; and the following brothers and sisters: Clair Frey, Lancaster; Phares Frey, Millersville, Elizabeth, wife of Arthur Reed, Manheim; Cletus Frey, Manheim, and George Frey, East Petersburg.
