Lillian Mary Anderson, 94 of Brainerd, and formerly of Aitkin, died Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Bethany Good Samaritan Society in Brainerd. She was born April 23, 1923 in Isle to Alfred and Mary (Lindholm) Lundquist. She attended school in Thor.
Lillian was united in marriage to Harold W. Anderson May 2, 1942 in Beaver Township, Aitkin County, MN. She was a homemaker and seamstress and enjoyed sewing.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold W. Anderson on March 10, 2003; son: Tim Anderson; 4 brothers: Ernie, Emil, Robert, and Raymond; 3 sisters: Ellen, Eleanor, and Virginia.
Lillian is survived by 5 children: Sandra (James) Pratt of Colorado; David (Yvonne) Anderson of Cloquet; Mary Ellen (Fred) Grossman of Grand Rapids; Peter Anderson of Wisconsin; John (Lori) Anderson of Brainerd. Daughter-in-law: Penny Anderson of Finlayson, 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren. 1 sister: Lucille Walz of Brooklyn Park and 1 brother: Clarence (Sandy) Lundquist of Crosby. Many other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service will be 11:00A.M. - Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Sorensen-Root-Thompson Funeral Home in Aitkin. Chaplin Clarence Lundquist will officiate.
