John Den Hartog, formerly of Orange City, died at his home in Pella Friday, April 6, from the effects of a saneer, from which he has beea a suflerer for several years.
He was born n Sioux county in 1866 and liyed here nearly all his life, being a partner in the hardware store which went by tbe name of Kraal & Den Hartog.
After moving to Pella he bought out a hardware business which he carried on until his death.
He leaves to mourn his loss a wife and two children, Hilton and Effie, two sisters and one brother, Henry Den Hartog of Maurice.
The funeral services were held at ten o'clock Monday morning at the First Reformed church at Pella.
