Judith Ann,"Judy" Ellis, age 69, of Dayton, passed away Monday, June 13, 2016 at her residence. Judith was a retired teacher with over 42 years of service including over 24 years with Huber Heights City Schools. She was a longtime member of St. Peter Catholic Church and a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Society. Judith was preceded in death by her mother, Amelia Zaversnik; father & step-mother, Lewis & Marge Zaversnik. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years, Richard "Rick"; daughter, Amy Ellis of Louisville, KY; son & daughter-in-law, Jason & Becky Ellis of Chesapeake, VA; grandchildren, Conner & Harper and a host of other relatives and special friends. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, June 18, 2016 at St. Peter Catholic Church, 6161 Chambersburg Road with Father Tony Cutcher celebrant. Interment Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Marker & Heller Funeral Home, Huber Heights Chapel, 5844 Old Troy Pike from 5-8 PM Friday.
