F. R. COURTAD CLAIMED FRIDAY
Funeral Servcies Tuesday For County Native

Floyd Ray Courtad, 77, 235 N. Fourth St., died at 8:40 p.m. Friday in Wyandot
Memorial Hospital. He had been hospitalized 17 days.

Born May 13, 1892 in Wyandot County, he was a son of August J. and Emmaline (Von
Blon) Courtad. He married Mary Jane Vroman on Dec. 25, 1915 and she survives.

Also surviving are daughters, Mrs. Ralph (Mary Alice) Stoneburner, Upper
Sandusky; Mrs. V. L. (Joan) Reinschell, route two, Upper Sandusky; sons Marvin
August, route two, Bucyrus; Marlow Ray, route one, Forest; 13 grandchildren; and
seven great-grandchildren; other survivors included the following brothers and
sisters, Mrs. Effie everett, Sturgis, Mich.; Mrs. John Winehart, Mrs. Lewis
Hetzel, Mrs. Curtis Brown, Adrian Courtad and Claude Courtad, all of in or near
Upper Sandusky; and Mrs. Arthur Burks, Shelby. One daughter died in infancy and
one sister, Mrs. Charlotte Feeley died on Tuesday, March 24.

Mr. Courtad was a retired employee of the State Highway Department. He was a
member of Trinity United Methodist Church.
